Epistat was formed in 2007 and as a limited company in December 2021 specialized in real-world evidence and medical statistics. The company has extensive experience from Academia and Life Sciences in global, regional, and local roles within Medical Affairs, R&D, and Market Access, and long experience in several disease areas such as oncology, neurology, rare diseases and cardiovascular diseases¨

Founder and CEO
Anders brings extensive experience from academia and the life sciences, spanning global, regional, and local roles within Medical Affairs, R&D, and Market Access. He holds an MSc in Medical Statistics from Uppsala University and a PhD in Epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet.

Erik has more than 20 years of experience in academic research and consulting within biostatistics, clinical research, and real-world evidence. He holds a master’s degree in Technical Physics from Umeå University and a PhD in Epidemiology from Uppsala University.

Valentina holds a double degree in Applied Mathematics from universities in Germany and Italy, along with a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics from Chalmers University of Technology. She comes with proven expertise in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modelling applied to cancer research and type 2 diabetes, together with wide-ranging skills in statistical analysis.

He has published 160 articles in peer‑reviewed journals.
